how do you know it got a password, does it say you have to answer a questioner to receive the password ? EDIT :if it does or similar forget it, waste of time get another film :) And you hijacked thi thread, lol i didnt even realise.:))
it's a movie compressed in a .rar file...when I try to open it...it asks me for a password

why dont you just go back to where you got it and post the same question there / ask the original uploader / make sure you look at any attached / included information. go back to the page where you got it - maybe the answer is there - its possible you overlooked it.

That sounds rather like a scam. You download the file, and then have to pay someone to give you the password to open it. Stick to legal downloads, from accepted sites.

when i tried to open the rar to view the movie it asked me to get the password from

I would not go near that site. It is a scam. And you are likely to get infected by nasties.
